During this process the service of specialists in the field of geographical systems was given, an administrator of the database Oracle experienced in spatial applications and consultants with previous projects of geographical information systems to assess and develop along with professionals from AySA the following tasks:
- Development of the Strategic System Plan for the AySA Technical and Geographical Systems Area.
- The migration feasibility analysis of the proprietary data model that was being used in APIC to an open and possible platform to be exploited by other solutions.
- Support the AySA operational database migration process in APIC to an open model over Oracle Spatial.
- Support for the exploitation of information in the new data model.
