Description and Detail:
The project involves the implementation of the system, the development of a system customization based on rules defined by LoJack as well as the development of new modules that are mounted on this platform.
The implementation of the infrastructure in this project differs slightly from the basic design of the GeoAVL service, since the software components are deployed in hybrid mode, that is, a set of them is deployed, such as the conventional model, in Geosystems installations (data center belonging to the BT firm, ex COMSAT) and another set of components is deployed in infrastructure provided by LoJack the basic functionality of the system is that of our product GeoAVL , mounting on it all the functionality of an alarm and event operation system for the location and vehicular tracking.
Several front ends were configured, both on the Web platform and on the Windows platform, oriented to the operation of each type of user, among which we will find:
- Operations Users: These are the internal operators who have access to the Operations system, intended for mobile tracking, control, and recovery.
- Windows Query Users: These are the largest clients who have access to the Windows Query System
- Light Web Query Users: Customers who have access to the Web Query System with basic functionality
- Full Web Query Users: Customers who have access to the Web Query System with full functionality
