An implementation of the system FiberGIS was made using the modifications the client required to adapt it to the own modes of work and to use the information that other systems had. It included the training of users and the support for 2 months.
The adaptations, the adding of new reports and the widening of the functions for the access through internet were part of this project in order to make consultations about the information and make reports about it.
With this system COMSAT administers all its fiber net, not only the infrastructure , but also the nets, it also makes analysis of the net status, using the logical module of FiberGIS.
It was also adapted to the engineering area in its modalities for the modeling of nets, and the realization of the projects and their inspection.
Altogether with this implementation, the detailed cartography of the area worked was given and the components of the net were georeferenced.
