The Temporary Union of Companies Buenos Aires Bureau S.A. – GeoBaires SRL was responsible for reviewing approximately 1,100,000 urban and suburban plots within the concession radius of Aguas Argentinas S.A., comprising the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires.
Geosystems S.A was selected to participate in the project taking over the IT area and exercising management functions.
The tasks performed can be summarized in:
- Provision of management functions
- Analysis, definition and supervision of the production process
- Computer design of the project
- Geographical database design
- Provision of the application software of the Geographic Information System and its adaptation to the particular requirements of the project
- Training of the staff involved
- Development of translator programs to enter the system the information released
- Maintaining systems
